Activities
Walking
Dramatic guided coastal adventure along one of Northern Ireland’s most spectacular cliff faces, following narrow paths, bridges, steps, tunnels and rugged sections carved into the coastline. The experience takes you right alongside the cliffs and above the sea, with incredible coastal views and opportunities to spot seabirds and marine wildlife. This is a more challenging adventure suited to older children who meet the age/height requirements, with sturdy footwear and advance booking required.
Before You Visit
This one needs planning. Tours should be booked ahead, everyone on the cliff path must be at least 1.2m tall, and sturdy walking boots with ankle support are compulsory — trainers aren't accepted. The route is physically demanding with lots of steps and uneven ground, so read the current safety guidance before booking.
Top Tips
- ⭐Dress for proper Northern Ireland weather and keep your hands free for the trickier sections. If anyone in the family isn't ready for the full cliff walk, the visitor centre itself is accessible and has a café, exhibition and virtual-reality experience.
