What You'll Find
Banbridge Leisure Centre is a handy spot for a family swim, especially if you've got children of different ages who enjoy the water.
There's a main swimming pool for confident swimmers, along with a learner pool and a separate toddler pool for younger children who are still getting used to the water.
The leisure water area is a big part of the attraction, particularly for children who enjoy something a little more exciting than an ordinary swimming session. There's also a long winding waterslide, which older children will definitely want to investigate!
For toddlers and younger children, the smaller pools are a good place to practise splashing, floating and getting comfortable in the water without having to use the main pool.
It's worth checking which swimming session you're booking, as the main pool, leisure water and slide may not all be available at the same time. If the slide is the main reason your kids want to visit, make sure it's operating during your chosen session.
Banbridge town centre is nearby too, so you can always head for lunch or a little treat once everyone is dried off.

Before You Visit
Check the family swimming timetable before setting off, as pool availability and leisure water sessions can vary.
The waterslide may have age, height or swimming ability restrictions, so check these before promising the kids a go.
Bring swimming nappies for little ones who need them, along with towels and suitable swimwear.
If you're visiting specifically for the leisure water or slide, confirm they're operating during your chosen session.
⭐ Wee Adventurers Top Tips
- ⭐If you've got toddlers, look for sessions with access to the smaller pools rather than booking a general lane-swimming session.
- ⭐Check the waterslide restrictions before visiting, especially if your children are younger.
- ⭐Pack everything into one swimming bag the night before. Towels, goggles, swim nappies and a spare change of clothes are easily forgotten!
- ⭐If the kids are excited about the winding slide, double-check the session timetable so they aren't disappointed when you arrive.
