Beautiful Grade A listed civic building with free grounds to explore, including lawns, memorials, the Titanic Memorial Garden and the Cenotaph. Families can also visit the interactive visitor exhibition, which brings Belfast’s history to life through six themed areas, interactive displays and an augmented-reality experience. Guided tours take visitors inside the grand building to see the marble-clad Rotunda, Grand Staircase, historic portraits and civic rooms. There’s also The Bobbin Coffee Shop, a gift shop and accessible facilities including a Changing Places room.
Before You Visit
City Hall is an active civic building, so access to rooms, exhibitions and tours can vary around council business and events. Check the current visitor information before travelling.
Top Tips
The grounds are handy for a quick run around before or after your visit. If you're hoping to see a particular exhibition or take a tour, check what's running that day rather than just turning up.
