What You'll Find
If you're looking for somewhere free to take the kids around Carryduff, this lovely local park is a handy wee spot for a play and a wander!
Located just off Edgar Avenue in the heart of Carryduff, the park has a children's playground, walking paths, outdoor exercise equipment and plenty of open green space to enjoy.
The playground is the main attraction for little adventurers, giving them somewhere to climb, play and have fun before heading off to explore the rest of the park.
And there's more to enjoy beyond the play area!
The walking paths are great for a wee family stroll, or for bringing along scooters if your kids enjoy exploring on wheels. There's also outdoor exercise equipment dotted around the park, which always seems to be just as interesting to the kids as it is to the grown-ups!
With open grassy areas for running around and playing games, it's easy to spend a lovely morning or afternoon here without needing to spend anything.
It's not a huge destination park, but sometimes these simple local spots are exactly what you need, especially when you've got little ones who just want to get outdoors and play.

Before You Visit
You'll find Carryduff Park at 1 Edgar Avenue, with a car park nearby and just a short walk to the playground.
The park has fairly flat paths, making it a handy option for families with younger children or those bringing scooters.
There aren't any public toilets within the park, so it's worth planning ahead, especially if you're visiting with little ones.
The park has seasonal opening hours, closing at 9pm during the summer months and 5pm from October through to March.
Lighting improvement works began in autumn 2026, so some areas may be temporarily fenced off while work is taking place.
