Full Description
Moira Play Park is a great spot when the kids need to burn off some energy, but there's plenty more to explore beyond the playground!
Set within more than 40 acres of parkland at Moira Demesne, the play area has equipment for different ages, with space for younger children as well as climbing and exploring opportunities for bigger kids.
Once you've finished in the play park, why not enjoy a walk around the Demesne? There are accessible pathways suitable for buggies and wheelchairs, woodland to explore and wildlife areas where the wee ones can see what they can spot along the way.
There's also plenty of open grassy space for running around, playing games or spreading out a picnic blanket. You'll find seating throughout the park and outdoor gym equipment too.
One of the lovely things about Moira Demesne is how close it is to the village. There's a coffee dock within the park, and Moira itself has lots of lovely cafés and places to grab lunch or a sweet treat. It's easy to make a little afternoon of it rather than just popping in for the playground.
A brilliant free option for a simple family adventure, with something for different ages and plenty of room to explore.
What You'll Find
Explore the paths through the demesne, enjoy the open grass and let little ones discover the woodland at their own pace. It’s a relaxed park where a simple walk can easily turn into a nature adventure.
