Full Description
Portrush East Strand is a gorgeous sandy beach that stretches out from the town towards the dramatic scenery of the North Coast. With lots of space to run, dig and explore, it is a brilliant family option for a simple seaside day.
Bring buckets and spades for sandcastles, paddle at the edge when conditions are suitable and enjoy a long walk along the sand. The beach is backed by dunes and coastal scenery, and the further you wander, the more the views open up. Portrush town is close by if you fancy lunch or an ice cream afterwards.
It is easy to spend hours here with nothing more than beach toys and a picnic. Check tides and sea conditions, especially if you plan to walk towards Whiterocks, and keep little adventurers close to the water.
What You'll Find
