Before You Visit
Pre-booking is recommended, although you can normally pay on arrival too. The Transport Museum and Folk Museum now have separate admission, so don't assume one ticket covers both. The museum recommends allowing around two hours for a visit.
Business Top Tips
This is a brilliant one for children who love trains, cars and anything with wheels. Don't rush it — give them time to stop at their favourites, and if you're thinking of doing the Folk Museum as well, I'd treat them as two separate outings unless your kids have plenty of energy!
