What You'll Find
Chessington World of Adventures is a great pick when your family wants a bit of everything in one day. It combines theme park rides with a zoo, which is a real bonus if you've got children who tire of one type of activity: when the queues get too much you can swap the rides for the animals and give everyone a change of pace.
There are family rides and bigger attractions for older children, the zoo and animal areas for a breather, character experiences and play areas dotted around the site, and seasonal entertainment that adds variety through the year. That mix makes it much easier to keep different ages happy in one trip.
It's well set up for families too: baby feeding and changing rooms, plenty of restaurants, cafés and food outlets, and Parent Swap to help when you have younger children or different height restrictions in the same family. Changing Places facilities with a hoist, height-adjustable bench, shower and toilet are available as well.

Before You Visit
Ride height restrictions vary and the park is large, so comfortable shoes or a buggy for younger children are useful. Check access arrangements in advance if anyone needs extra support — the Ride Access Pass uses the Merlin app. Resort parking is available.
