What You'll Find
If your family loves being active, SkyPark in Carlingford is a brilliant place to head for an adventure-filled day. It's much more than a quick stop, and you can easily fill a full day here. We like the variety on offer, which balances high-octane excitement with more relaxed play areas, so children who love aerial challenges and those who prefer keeping their feet on the ground are both happy.
The main draw is the aerial adventure: multiple high-ropes courses and ziplines winding through the trees above Carlingford Lough. The All Access course (for ages 9+ and 120cm+) gives older children and adults the full range of climbing, balancing and zip-line challenges. Younger children, or anyone staying on the ground, have a maze, mini golf and an open play area, plus a free sandpit that's perfect for little ones.
There's a café on site with indoor and outdoor seating, so you can sit and watch the activities while the children take on the courses. A non-participating adult can enter free with a paying child, which helps if one parent would rather watch than climb, and free on-site parking is right next to the activities, so there's no hauling gear from the car.

Before You Visit
SkyPark is mainly outdoors, so dress for the weather and wear closed-toe shoes — you won't be allowed on the aerial courses without them. Under-3s are free. Some activities have age, height or accessibility restrictions (the All Access course is for ages 9+ and 120cm+), so check the current requirements before booking. Activities need to be booked in advance.
