What You'll Find
Annalong Play Park is a lovely little stop if you're exploring the Mourne coast with the kids. There's a playground for the wee ones to enjoy, but what makes this one special is having the harbour and coastline right on your doorstep.
After a play, take a little wander towards the working harbour where the kids can watch the fishing boats and see what's happening along the waterfront. There's also a small beach and rocky shoreline to explore, with lovely views towards the Mourne Mountains.
It's not somewhere you'd necessarily plan a whole day around, but it's a great place to stop for a play, a picnic and a little explore if you're already in the area.
The harbour is still a working harbour, so you'll want to keep little ones close around the water and boats.

Before You Visit
The harbour is a working area with open water, so keep little ones close when exploring.
The rocks along the shoreline can be slippery, particularly when wet, so sensible footwear is a good idea.
If you're planning to explore the beach, it's worth checking the tide times before visiting.
