What You'll Find
Fairy Glen is a short, rather magical walk on the edge of Rostrevor, and it's easy to miss if you don't know where to look. Head down Bridge Street out of the village and the glen opens on your left just past the bridge, right beside the entrance to Kilbroney Park.
From there a path follows the Kilbroney River upstream for about half a mile, with the water never far from your feet and paths branching off into Kilbroney Park whenever you fancy extending the wander. It's off-road the whole way and feels a world away from the street you've just left.

Before You Visit
It's a linear walk of about half a mile each way, so you double back to return. The path is off-road, so footwear matters more than it might look from the village.
Toilets and a café, including accessible toilets, are available in neighbouring Kilbroney Park rather than at the glen itself, and parking charges may apply there. The route isn't rated as accessible terrain.
