Activities
Swimming · Climbing
Large family leisure centre with a 25-metre swimming pool, learner pool and family swimming sessions, alongside an indoor climbing wall, sports halls and a wide range of indoor activities. Outside, families can also enjoy the surrounding St Columb’s Park, with walking paths, green space and a children’s play park, making it easy to combine a swim or climb with some outdoor play.
Before You Visit
Pool timetables can change around lessons, clubs and events, so check the current family/public swim sessions before travelling. Bring everything you need for changing younger children and allow a little extra time if it’s your first visit.
Top Tips
Pick a family swim session that suits your wee ones rather than arriving between programmed sessions. A towel poncho or easy-change clothes are always handy with younger swimmers, and it’s worth having a snack ready for afterwards.
