Round Lake

Full Description

Round Lake is a lovely little free outing in Fivemiletown, especially with younger children. The path loops right around the water and takes around 15 minutes to walk, so it's a manageable adventure for little legs without lots of complaints about how far is left! It's tarmac and works well for prams, wheelchairs, scooters and bikes. The small enclosed playground has a soft surface and is ideal for a play before or after your walk. You can bring a picnic to enjoy beside the lake, or head into Fivemiletown for something to eat. There's even a caravan and camping park if you're staying nearby. It's not a huge attraction, but a peaceful walk, a play and some fresh air can be exactly what you need.
