Full Description
Helen's Bay is a lovely place to combine a playpark with a beach adventure. The enclosed playground has a bright whale theme and a soft safety surface, which gives it a really fun seaside feel. Once the wee ones have had a good play, head down towards Helen's Bay for sand, fresh air and beautiful views across Belfast Lough towards Whitehead and Blackhead Lighthouse. The beach sits beside the wooded headlands of Crawfordsburn Country Park, so there are more walks nearby if everyone still has energy. It's easy to spend longer here than you planned, especially on a sunny day when the children want to go from the playground straight onto the sand.
What You'll Find
The park offers paths and green space for a simple family wander, picnic or run around. Its location makes it easy to combine with the surrounding coastal area.
