Pump Track

Full Description

NOT YET OPEN — there is no confirmed opening date, so please do not travel expecting to use the track. Donaghadee Pump Park is a planned free outdoor facility at The Commons, with construction under way since August 2026 and completion expected in autumn 2026. Once open, it will suit children who love bikes and scooters: a pump track is designed for rolling around banked turns and bumps, building confidence and balance as children practise at their own pace. Until the council confirms that the track is open, please treat this as a future attraction and check the council's project page before setting off.

What You'll Find

Once open, the pump-style riding area will be designed for wheeled fun, with a circuit that lets riders build confidence and skills. It will suit children who are already comfortable on their bike or scooter.

Wee Ones Will Love...

✓Practising bike or scooter skills once open
✓Learning to balance on the banked turns when it opens
✓Watching confident riders tackle the track after opening

Before You Visit

Do not travel to use the track yet — it is still under construction. The council’s programme expects the works to be completed in autumn 2026, but no opening date has been confirmed. Once it opens, check the council’s page for opening times, age guidance and any booking arrangements.
